Prepare your money, because the symphonic concert “Music of the Worlds by Hayao Miyazaki” will take place in Lviv.
Briefly about the concert
As you can understand from the name of the concert, it is dedicated to the works of the Japanese director of animated films Hayao Miyazaki. The LUMOS Orchestra will perform melodies from Miyazaki’s works on stage.
Let’s move on to the question, the answer to which you are waiting the most: what compositions will be heard at the event? What can I say here, the list is huge: “Spirited Away”, “Howl’s Moving Castle”, “Princess Mononoke”, “Nausikaya of the Valley of the Wind”, “My Neighbor Totoro”, “Laputa’s Sky Castle”, “Porco Rosso”, “Ponyo Fish” on the Hill”, “The Wind Blows”, “The Witch’s Delivery Service”, “The Boy and the Heron”, “The Borrowing of Arietti” and “The Whisper of the Heart”.
And here you have to give credit to LUMOS Orchestra because they are not only professional musicians but also true fans of multi- and movie universes. That is why, like no other, they know how to play a melody so that the heart stops.
The orchestra has a solid track record: “Harry Potter”, “Game of Thrones”, and “Lord of the Rings”, as well as shows based on the soundtracks of video games, TV series, and cartoons, collaborations with recognized actors and composers, creation of creative music videos and having more than 800 compositions in the repertoire. Impressive, isn’t it?

One cannot talk about animated films without mentioning Hayao Miyazaki. We should owe him the existence of “Spirited Away” and other cult paintings.
