Do you speak English? There is a cool offer for those who really enjoy watching movies in the original! America House Lviv and Lviv Film Club “-2.64” organized a watching the film in English, and invite those interested to join the initiative.
Briefly about the film
Well, it is worth briefly describing the plot of the film so that you can understand whether it is yours. A movie called “She” is waiting for you. Immediately a small remark: “She” will appeal to fans of science fiction. So, let’s get to the point.
In the near future, a lonely writer named Theodore Twombly lives in Los Angeles. He is going through a divorce and tries to find solace in a new high-tech operating system with artificial intelligence. This system, called Samantha, has a pleasant voice and the ability to continuously learn and evolve. Over time, Theodore and Samantha grow closer to each other, and their relationship turns from simple friendship into something more intimate and deep. What will come of this is unknown.
It is interesting that in 2013 “She” won the “Oscar” for the best original screenplay. In addition, the National Council of Film Critics of the USA recognized the film as the best film of 2013.
What will happen at the event?
Sure thing that watching the film in English will not do without a rich discussion afterward. However, do not think that it will be something chaotic and incomprehensible. This part of the event will be moderated by film enthusiast Roman Korman.
