The Lviv Municipal Clinical Emergency Hospital invites everyone to join the noble mission of blood donation. At the transfusiology department, located on the first floor of the facility, you can safely and comfortably donate whole blood or plasma. To do so, follow these simple steps:
1. Prepare: Bring your passport and identification code. If you are using an ID card, don’t forget to bring a certificate of registration.
2. Meet the requirements: For whole blood donors, the minimum weight requirement is 55 kg (121 lbs).

Lviv Regional Blood Service Center
The Lviv Regional Blood Service Center welcomes volunteers willing to make an invaluable contribution to saving lives. Here, you can donate whole blood, plasma, or platelet mass, giving hope to those in need. To participate, you’ll only need a few things:
1. A valid identification document — a passport or an ID card with an accompanying registration certificate.
2. Weight requirements: For whole blood donors – 60 kg (132 lbs) or more, for platelet donors – 65 kg (143 lbs) or more.
3. If you are a male and wish to donate platelets, you meet all the requirements.
The center accepts donors from Monday to Friday and on the first Saturday of each month.
