So, “Good Omens” is a fantasy novel by the outstanding creative couple Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. It organically combines elements of mysticism, humor, and social satire.
In 11 years, the Apocalypse should come, which will mark the end of the world. Angel Azirafail and the demon Crowley, who have been living on Earth for thousands of years, suddenly realize that they both do not want to lose the world to which they are accustomed. United, they try to stop the Apocalypse, seeking and raising the Antichrist, who, according to prophecy, must start it. Their actions lead to a series of comic and unpredictable situations, because they have to face the bureaucracy of Heaven and Hell, human blindness and fanaticism, as well as their complexes and insecurities.
